About Us
Originally named Super Sound Sensation (SSS) started in 1975 from a small Junior High School in San Francisco, The Infrared Band was founded by renowned Philippines music director, Johnny Rojo.
Infrared band is a high energy dance band - covering Standards, Old School, Hip Hop, 80's, 90's, and today's Top 40s.
The group has performed in a multitude of cultural events at the Yerba Buena Gardens, EcoFest 2017 at Laney College, the Nihonmachi and Cherry Blossom Festivals in Japantown, Social events in the Bay Area and local clubs, the former Kansaki lounge, Tito Rey, Bamboo House, Gerry's Grill of Union City and Fort McKinley South San Francisco.
